Alumni Reunion in the Planning Stage:

A Word about Class Reunions:

If your class has not had a milestone year reunion (5yrs. 10yrs. etc.,) plan to meet at the All-School Reunion held each spring. Suggestions for special arrangements for an earlier get-together and group seating for the dinner can be made. But you must plan ahead so this can be coordinated. Class of 2002 - 10 Years in 2012: 

Daniel Marshall, the senior class president for the Molalla High School Class of 2002 is in the initial planning stages for a class reunion in 2012.  Fellow classmates have also expressed an interest in organizing a ten-year reunion.

The class of 1964 is planning a ''Roaring 20's Boomer Bust" this July 30th, 2011 at the home of Bill & Patti Nightingale. We are collectively turning 65 years old this year.

Class of 2001 - 10 Years in 2011: 

Hi!  The Molalla Class of 2001 Ten Year Reunion is set for July 30-31, 2011.

  • July 30, 2011, 6:00PM to 10:00PM, Dinner at Farmstead Restaurant and Pub for classmates plus significant other.
  • July 31, 2011 12:00 Noon to whenever, Picnic at Fyrer Park. Families welcome. Potluck food will assigned according to the last name you had in high school. Main Dishes - A through E Sides - F through M Finger Foods - N through S Desserts - T through Z BYOB.
  • Tickets for both events are $50 each.

It is to be held September 15, 2010 at Grand Ronde, Oregon.

Class of 1958 - 52 Years in 2010:

The class of '58 is planning several 70th Birthday Bash events for this summer. Amazing how fast we got OLD! Actually some of the participants are a bit hesitant to admit to 70 years! I don't understand that.....but I digress.

We'd love to share 2 of our events with the general MUHS alum population.

  • We're planning a Two Hour Cruise on the Columbia River out of Portland on Saturday, August 14, 2010. The cost is Approximately $36 per person including lunch.
     
  • Also we are planning a 4 day, 3 night Pacific Coastal Cruise on Holland American Cruise Lines, leaving Seattle on Monday, September 20, with visits to ports of Astoria, OR & Victoria, BC, returning to Seattle on Thursday, September 23. Inside cabins start at a per person price of $399 + $75 port taxes & go to $649 + port taxes for a verandah suite. Is there a way to convey the info to the Alums?

Class of 1960 - 50 Years in 2010:

Molalla Union High School Class of 1960 50 Year Reunion

Here we are facing 2010. Fifty years ago who would have thought that time could pass so quickly. Let's get together and celebrate the journey we started 50 years ago with a reunion dinner and picnic.

Save the date:

Saturday, August 21st 2010. Dinner will be held at the Farmstead Inn Restaurant at the Arrowhead Golf Course. Visiting/reminiscing starts 5:00 pm with a dinner buffet to follow at 6:00 pm: (Grilled tri-tip with mushroom, Chicken breast in country gravy and all the fixens).

Overnight accommodations are available locally:

  • Stagecoach Inn, 415 Grange Ave, Molalla - 503-829-4382
  • Canby Country Inn, 99E & Elm, Canby - 1-888-825-6343 for reservations

A potluck picnic is planned for Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Clark Park near the Buckaroo grounds beginning a 1:00 pm.

Reunion Book: You're M.U.H.S. classmates would like to know what you have been doing for the past 50 years. Married? Children? Grandchildren? Retired? Work past/present? Hobbies? Interests? Travel? Recreation? Volunteer work?, Etc. We would also like to have a current picture of you and your spouse or significant other to be included in the book. I know, it's just another addition to the long list of things to do, but to make it as painless as possible we have included a blank form which can be filled out and returned. Print clearly or type your responses on a separate sheet. If you have an e-mail address you may provide just that and we will send the form by e-mail which may then be copied to Microsoft Word, filled out and returned as an attachment to an e-mail reply.  (Deadline was March 15, 2010)

Class of 1975 - 35 Years in 2010: 

Larry Hansen is the Chairman for the 35th reunion for the Class of 1975.  He is being assisted by Cathy Finney. It will be a two day event:

  • August 13, 2010 venue and details are TBA (to be announced).
  • August 14, 2010:  Dinner at The Farmstead Restaurant at Arrowhead, 28313 South Hwy 213, Molalla, OR 97038. Social hour at 5:30 PM and Dinner at 6:30 PM.

Class of 1979 - 31 Years in 2010: 

CLASS OF "79" REUNION at......Dobbes Winery in Dundee Oregon on July 24th. Time: 2pm to 6pm. There will be a live band, Wine Tasting & Hors d'oeuvres. Price for attendance is $20 per person. Dobbes Winery will be setting up PayPal so it will be easy to purchase your tickets ahead of time. You will be able to purchase your ticket at the door. RSVP is important. You may also call Charles in the tasting room at Dobbes Winery at 503-538-1141 ext. 2. Dobbes Winery will need at least 2 weeks advance notice for RSVP.

Cost: $50/person, after 8pm $20/person. 6 pm- 10ish- DJ-Karoke; DJ to play background music during meet and greet & dinner, followed by fun-filled time with dance music & karaoke. Class of 1995 - 15 Years in 2010: 

(Taken from the FaceBook page:)  We have started planning our 15 year reunion. July 30th and 31st. The Friday night will be similar to the ten year. Alums find a bar and meet up. Saturday will more than likely be a potluck style gathering at a park. Family friendly for sure.
