William R. Barth William (Bill) R. Barth of Molalla died Aug. 11. 2014. He was 72. Bill was born June 19, 1942 in Oregon City to Rex and Eva Barth (later Eva Goldsby). He graduated from Molalla High School in 1960 and married Gail Brock on Aug. 16, 1969 at St. James Catholic Church in Molalla. He worked for 25 years for Pacific Nonhwest Bell, starting out as a telephone installer before working his way up to computer programmer. He was an avid gardener and an amateur nature photographer. He also was a man of deep faith who shared his commitment through several missionary trips to Africa and New Zealand. Bill is survived by his wife of 45 years, Gail Barth; son Andrew Barth of Seattle, and daughter Sarah Barth of Molalla; grandsons Drew Hicks Barth of Bremerton, Wash., and David Barth of Paso Robles, Calif.; brothers Mike Goldsby and Joe Goldsby of Molalla, and sisters Mary Logue of Silverton, Lorna Musser of Molalla, and Sally Goldsby of Gresham, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his sister Sharon Jenck of Tillamook and nephew Jim Jenck of Tillamook. A funeral mass was held Aug. 16, 2014 < St. James Catholic Church in Molalla.
