June Howland Bluemmel
June Howland Bluemmel died July 1, 2017 surrounded by family and friends. June was born in Portland, June 14, 1935, to Dick and Frances (Kokel) Howland. She graduated from Maple Grove Grade School and Molalla High School in 1952. She had a scholarship from Clackamas Co. Medical Society then two years at Providence School of Nursing, graduating in 1955. She worked many years as a Nurse and then 24 years at OHSU. After retirement she joined the Downtown Portland Lions Club then the Master Gardeners of Multnomah Co. She is survived by her sister, Patricia Krupicka; and her six children, Robyn, Michael, John, Beth, Rick and Jeff The service wil be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday Aug. 1, 2017, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 3910 S.E. 11th Ave. in Portland. Instead of flowers, please give to The Oregon Lions Hearing Foundation. |
