Charla Joanne Germany, 58, of Molalla died September 19, 2009 at her home.

She was born August 26, 1951 in Oregon City to Charles and Elma Bronson. She graduated from Molalla High School with honors and attended Clackamas Community College for two years.

She married Michael Ray Germany on May 20, 1972 at Molalla United Methodist Church. She worked as a bookkeeper for Molalla Sand and Gravel, Canby Sand and Gravel, Parker NW Paving and Western Display Fireworks and was also a secretary at Foothills Community Church, where she attended for the past 11 years.

Survivors include her husband, Mike Germany; son, Scott Germany and his wife, Stephanie; daughter, Paula Hartland and her husband, Robert; mother, Elma Bronson; and eight grandchildren.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 26 at 10:30 a.m. at Foothills Community Church in Molalla, officiated by Pastor Dale Satrum. A graveside service for immediate family only will be held at Zion Cemetery in Canby.
