Donald Dale Helmig passed away March 4, 2024, at his home in Molalla, Ore., surrounded by his family. He was 90.

He lived his whole life in the Molalla area, and worked at Avison Lumber Company for 51 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and traveling.

Survivors include his wife, Pat; five children, Penny, Dan, RoseAnn, Charlie, and Nancy; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents; and one grandchild.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at his family residence, with private interment in Russellville Cemetery in Molalla. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association in Don's name.
