Caroline S. (Heinz-Nelson) Jensen

Date of birth  - February 27, 1932

Date of death  - March 29, 2019

Caroline S. (Heinz-Nelson) Jensen, 87, of Canby, Ore., passed away peacefully March 29, 2019.

At last she is free from her long, arduous struggle with dementia.

Caroline was born to the late Lloyd and Leila Heinz in Scotts Mills, Ore., the fifth of six children. She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Keith Jensen; four daughters, Sylvia (Ken) Koss, Linda Feldman, Keirene Jensen-Miller (Bob), Karyn Jensen-Gibbons (Rob); and grandchildren, Aaron Josten, Kalee, Melissa and Jennifer Gibbons; two brothers, Lloyd Heinz of Wilsonville and Elvin Heinz of Scotts Mills.

Through their 25 years together Caroline and Keith enjoyed living in various locations throughout Oregon and snow birding to their home in Mesa, Ariz. They traveled cross country by train and took the "trip of a lifetime" to Europe.

Caroline was an exquisite seamstress, a great cook and baker. She loved "loving" her family and friends with a tasty meal and heaven forbid one ever left her table hungry!

Caroline was preceded in death by her sisters, Ina Mae Tuley, Mary Duff and Phyllis M. Clayton; and her first husband, Ray Nelson.

A memorial service will be held in Caroline's honor at 10 a.m., Friday, April 12, 2019, at the Molalla United Methodist Church. The family invites friends to join them for a reception following the service at the Church. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation to the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.
