Roy Dean Moorhouse Roy Dean Moorhouse Born: January 19, 1957 — Died: October 19, 2014 Roy was born in Salem, OR on January 19, 1957 and passed away on October 19, 2014 in Portland from complications of Huntington's Disease. Roy had a passion for farming and loved to play in the dirt. He was a lifetime farmer and had grown several different types of seed crops, row crops grain and hay. In his career, he farmed over 1,000 acres a year. His third love was snowmobiling. He had sledded in Yellowstone many times, Revelstoke BC, and 9 different states. He is survived by his high school sweetheart of 37 years, Kristi, daughter April and son-in-law Tim and son Clyde. Roy is preceded in death by his mother, Vera, brother, Dale, and Father, Richard. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made to ()HSU Foundation Huntington's Research.
