Larry Dell Scribner, 81, of Oregon City, OR, passed on Nov. 25 at OHSU hospital. He was born Oct. 9, 1942 and grew up in Beavercreek, OR. He graduated from Molalla High School in 1960. He then attended Oregon Tech, graduating in 1962 in Auto Body Technology. He went into the National Guard and was honorably discharged in 1970.

Larry worked in auto body and paint all his life and was known as one of the best around. Many of the cars he worked on won awards in car shows and were even featured in magazines. He spent many hours at his shop and enjoyed visiting with his many friends that would stop by.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Dell and Leslie Scribner. He is survived by his wife, Patty, of 54 years, his daughter Tiffany (Jeff), his son Jason, his granddaughters Sophie and Josie, and his sister Darlene (Reggie) Kemp, and many nieces and nephews.

He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Many people looked up to Larry. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A funeral service will be held Friday, Dec. 15, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 417 Washington St, Oregon City, OR. A reception will follow at 12:00 in the parish hall.
