The Orange M initiative came about in 2025 as an effort to recognize the athletes and sports at Molalla High School. The Orange “M” Alumni “athletic fund” is dedicated to the futures of Molalla High School athletes offering them scholarships, career opportunities and support such as the Athlete of the Year Award. (OrangeM is the brainchild of 1959 MHS Alumnus Donald Smith.)
