Mitzi Merlene Dungey passed away March 15, 2021, with her husband Larry, daughters Tina Jackle, Serena Anderson, and Corena Garnas, and grandchildren by her side.

Mitzi was a medical assistant in the Oregon City area for 25 years finally retiring to be able to spend more time with family and grandchildren. Mitzi loved to spend as much time as possible with her family!

The family is planning a celebration of life July 17, 2021, location yet to be determined. Watch for Facebook notification when the time nears.

Our beloved Mitzi Merlene (Van Doren) Dungey left this world on March 15, 2021, after a long, hard fought illness. Loving wife of 48 years, mother to three, grandmother to 6, youngest of 12 siblings. She raised her family in Clackamas County, and retired to La Pine, Oregon.

She will be remembered for many reasons: her love and care, her wit and beauty, her marvelous meals, creativity and apple sauce slinging. Coordinator of many memorable family gatherings, lover of music and gardening, travel and tea parties, family and friends. Although she lost her ability to speak early in her illness, she managed to retain her sense of humor.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for July 17, 2021; venue to be confirmed.
