Roland Galer passed away on May 22, 2025 at his h0me in Molalla, Oregon.

He was born in Oregon City, Ore. on October 25, 1945 to Robert and Ioa Galer. He has one sister, Carlene Siler (Randy). He graduated from Molalla High School in 1963, continued his education at OTI in Klamath Falls for one year.

On August 1, 1964, he married Sherry Carr. They had four daughters; Sherri Hickam (Todd), Sheila Trannum (Owen), Christina Fromke (Jason), and Carrie Mills (Adam).

In 1979 they separated. On June 12, 1993, he married Cathie Coggon. He then gained four more children; Angela Barrow (Robert), Brian Coggon, Canda Linder (Kim), and Dana Coggon (Tessa).

He was blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Working at Freightliner for 37 years was a source of pride.

He was a member of the Molalla Nazarene Church.

His memorial service will be on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 11 am at the Molalla Nazarene Church.
