Rebekah
Lodge donates to local scholarship fund
The Molalla Alumni
Scholarship Fund Board is delighted to announce receipt
of a $10,000 donation from the Molalla Oak Rebekah Lodge
#159.
This money is to be used
to create a newly named scholarship (the Molalla Oak
Rebekah Lodge Scholarship) to be awarded next spring to
a 2009 Molalla River High School senior.
Our heartfelt thanks are
extended to the ladies of Molalla’s Rebekah Lodge not
only for their generous donation, but also for their
kindness and consideration in helping Molalla seniors to
further their education.
All donations are
invested with the sole purpose of awarding scholarships
each spring to active and deserving Molalla High School
seniors.
We now have four named
scholarships that have been created by individuals or
groups who have donated $10,000 or more to the Alumni
Fund.

The Alumni Association
. . .
-
The
Association maintains the Alumni Database - a list of Molalla High School Alumni
members and friends. It is used to contact alumni for reunions and send
the Newsletters and other mailings. Click on
Alumni About-Us for more information.
-
The
newsletter editors ask that you pass on news
of interest, suggestions, corrections, ideas, questions. Please email them
to
news@molalla-alumni.org.
-
Mailing of newsletters and in invitations to
the Spring alumni banquet take coordination and lots of helping hands.
Here are some
pictures of volunteer alumni and
friends involved in a recent mailing. We
can always use volunteer help, so don't hesitate to give us your name if you'd
like to donate a couple of hours helping in this worthwhile organization.
